Our Trust receives additional funding from government to help its schools improve the attainment of the most disadvantaged children.
Evidence shows that children from disadvantaged backgrounds:
- generally face extra challenges in reaching their potential at school.
- often do not perform as well as their peers.
The pupil premium grant is designed to allow the Trust and its schools to help disadvantaged children by improving their all-round progress and the learning outcomes they achieve.
As a condition of the funding our school must produce a Pupil Premium Strategy Statement.
